Greetings,
I am currently seeking a career change from a military intelligence analyst into a security data analyst. I am also applying for all help desk positions because I understand that I may need to get real IT experience before jumping into the security analyst role. Please take a look at my resume. I'd like it to explain how my the skills I learned from being a military analyst will transfer over to my new career. I'd like to know from an non-bias eye if it succeeds in this.
I plan on explaining my career change and applicable skills, i.e., quick learner, leadership, goal oriented, etc., in a cover letter. Do you feel this is a good idea or should I just add a section to the resume that explains this?
