Mac OS X Terminal not working w/ Virtualbox (Junos Olive)

I installed a Junos Olive using VirtualBox instead of Qemu on Mac OS X. Everything seems to be working so far, but the terminal acts funny (which won't allow me to use headless mode.)

Whenever I enter a command, terminal gives back an error tone, even tho it accepts the command.

I can't use show commands that span multiple pages and see more. Instead of allowing me to scroll thru the output using spacebar or arrows, it just goes to a new prompt instead.

Not too sure if I'm explaining the problem correctly. However, I tried to use both the default OS X Terminal program as well as iTerm and the same symptoms occur.
