My college offers the MTA certs as a final for the Microsoft classes they provide, which is awesome. I used the Net+ study guides and practice tests here at TE in addition to basic networking knowledge from previous classes. I did hardcore studying of the OSI model and managed an 85.
I spoke to a classmate that failed, and he did not study the OSI at all.
I'm trying to decide whether or not to take the Net+, but I may go ahead and do it since these MTA certs aren't as recognized as CompTIA.
