New job

Moving up from first line into more of a second line position. Its a heavy pay cut, one that I can't really afford. But hopefully the experience will pay off in the long run. I have been working really hard, there is still a long way to go. I will knock out some more certifications this year.

Cerebro Member Posts: 108Thank you. It was a hard decision to make because of the substantial drop in salary.
Where I was, was cushy in a way...but the real work went to the people above me who didn't have the time to explain the process. Alot of things that were set up were proprietary, comparatively I didn't learn much there. I put in alot of hours outside of work trying to get my head around the way things should and should not work!
The people in the new job are skilled in their specialised field and more approachable with sharing their knowledge. I am trying to look for weekend IT jobs, but no luck so far...so looking for anything, even retail to make up for the reduced income. Its a tough road ahead, but I only have a limited time to turn a dream into a reality.2014 goals: ICND2[] -
