Buying Vouchers in Advance

Hi,
I am being made redundant in the next few weeks.
As part of my severance package I am entitled up to £500 towards re-training, but it is normally paid to the training provider and not the person.
I am currently studying for CCNA and will probably do a 2012 server one later this year. Does anyone know if I can buy prometric or Pearson vouchers for a monetry value, which can then be used against any course I want or does the course have to be specified when purchasing the voucher?

They don't do any international Cisco vouchers or practice tests either. Pearson VUE only do vouchers in blocks of 10. But you could just schedule the test for 2 months out and reschedule if needed.

Thanks for the reply. I need to apply for the funds in advance and would obviously need to make a case for them.
Does anyone know the current cost in GBP for CCNA routing & switching (1 exam, not 2) & Server 2012 (70-410). That way I can then price the books on top when applying for the retraining grant.
TIA -
