I may be asking in the wrong sub-forum and the question may be already answered. In that case, please redirect me, because search button failed me.
I have passed these MS exams: 70-680, 70-685 and 70-432. Question is how to correctly write them down on the resume.
Should i write them like:
1. MCTS 70-680, MCTS 70-685 and MCTS 70-432
2. MCITP Windows 7 and MCTS 70-432
3. MCSA Windows 7 and ... ?
My confusion comes from this wiki sentence "This new certification [MCSA] replaces the older Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS)".

Then you should list all of the certs that are actually on the transcript. You can log into the MCP portal to view and download your transcript, print and order your certs, etc.
List them list this:
* Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA): Windows 7
* Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP): Enterprise Desktop Administrator
etc....WGU Progress: Master of Science - Information Technology Management (Start Date: February 1, 2015)

Matt27[lt] Member Posts: 74 ■■□□□□□□□□Understood. according to my MCP transcripts I can put these certifications:
1. MCSA Windows 7
2. MCTIP Enterp. Desk.support
3. MCTS SQL Server
4. MCTS Windows 7
Questions. If I put them in this order - would it sound like I am bragging or trying to show off? And also - wouldn't MCSA replaced MCTIP? What about people, who hold lets say MSM title - do they list all titles (MCTS, MCTIP) or just one?
I contacted MS representative and he suggested use MSCA Windows 7 and MCTS SQL Server. Probably would go with this. -
srabiee Member Posts: 1,231 ■■■■■■■■□□Why would you want to sell yourself short? NEVER sell yourself short. You earned the MCITP, why would you leave it off of your resume?
The MCSA did not directly replace the MCITP, however the MCITP certs will be retired eventually. (Microsoft keeps pushing the dates back on some of these) I feel that the MCITP falls somewhere in between the new MCSA Tier 2 certs and the new MCSE Tier 3 certs. So I think of the MCITP sort of Tier 2.5 if that makes sense. Even though they focus on slightly older technologies. (MCSE is now Server 2012 R2)
You aren't "bragging," you are trying to sell yourself, your skills, your experience, and your accomplishments to potential employers through your resume. Your resume is there to represent and to prove your potential worth to a company before you even land an interview.
Once you get to MCSE status, you can consider omitting the lower tier certs from your resume. But until then, list them all.
List them all in this order:
* Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP): Enterprise Desktop Support Technician
* Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA): Windows 7
* Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS): Microsoft SQL Server 2008, Implementation and Maintenance
* Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS): Windows 7, Configuring
* Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP)
The MCP is optional, but a lot of people include it because HR departments may still search for it. It may be wise to leave it on there.WGU Progress: Master of Science - Information Technology Management (Start Date: February 1, 2015)
