packet tracer(5.3.1) keeps crashing when trying to ssh into a router
StonedHitman
So i was watching a trainsignal video trying to understand ssh and the commands. I wrote down all the commands he said and did everything like he did but everytime i try to ssh to the router and am prompted for the password, it won't accept the password, i know im putting in the right password, i even tried all the passwords i configured in my running-config on the router, but it still won't work. Then after a little while packet tracer crashes. This happened twice already. Anyways, here are all the commands i typed in order.
1. MyRouter(config)#ip domain-name gary.local
2. MyRouter(config)#username gary password cisco
3. MyRouter(config)#crypto key generate rsa general-keys modulus 1024
4. MyRouter(config)#ip ssh version 2
5. MyRouter(config)#line vty 0 4
6. MyRouter(config-line)#transport input ssh
7. MyRouter(config-line)#login local
