No clue on modules

Hi,
About to start Voice track and so far ive got:
I have no clue about which modules to buy though, Ive read a lot of threads and everyone seems to be different. I would like to be able to use locally and also call from outside my house if this is possible?
I was planning on getting a 3550 switch, do I need 2 of these?

- 2 x 7940G phones
- 1760 router with wic 1enet
- WS-C3524-XL-EN Switch
- 2691 Integrated Services Router
