Problem with 70-640 Lab

Hi all,

I'm currently studying the titled exam and am doing the labs as I read through the book but have come across an issue in chapter 9, lesson 1.

The issue is within Exercise 3: Create a Manual Zone Delegation. I've completed the first 9 steps and created the northwindtraders.com forward lookup zone. However it then asks you to right click the zone, and click New Delegation. But when I try this, all the options are greyed out bar All Tasks, Delete, Refresh and Help. I've been back through the previous exercises and don't think I've missed anything.

Does anyone have any ideas about where to look or if I've missed something?

Not sure if you resolved this yet. One of the quirks of the DNS console (and some other MMCs in my experience) is that right-clicking on an item straightaway doesn't always bring up all the options in the context menu. Select the item first by left-clicking on it, then once you have selected it right-click to bring up the menu. I have just worked through the exercise here and I believe this will resolve your problem.
