PAssed JNCIA-JUNOS

Passed today. Not the score I was expecting, but it's a pass. It's funny, I passed but I'm still upset in the back of my mind. I need to build a bridge and get over it :)

Used the fast track material. This, along with a brush up on networking fundamentals, previous experience and an srx 100 is what I used.

I'm not sure if I focused on the wrong objectives or if the PDFs need some updating but there were some items I wasn't expecting to see. Nevertheless, time to move on!

What's next? I have a jncis-sec course ion a few weeks I'm really looking forward to. I'll probably familiarize myself with the objectives beforehand and take the exam when ready. After that go for ccna security. But between now and my course, a nice small break from studying.

I would say watch the fast track video, the two PDFs and your CCNA experience and you should be good. Snag a j series or SRX device for lab (nothing fancy, just familiarizing yourself with Junos hierarchy and commands). Also, I did use the Junos genius app, and Juniper's practice tests from their site. I scored really high marks on those, but I felt as though they fell short in terms of the degree of difficulty. The one thing I really wish this exam had was some decent practice test software (a la boson for CCNA).

    Good Luck DoubleNNs!
