Never piss off someone who's younger and motivated, you never know where you'll see them down the road.
So true! Speaking from personal experience I was working in a retail/customer service type position and the manger along with several other workers flat out told me I wasn't qualified or ready for a higher level position, that I needed to put in more years, and that I was trying to move up too fast. Well year and a half later I have received two promotions and I'm sitting in the back office doing IT work in the same pay range as that manager
Its amazing to see the difference between employees that are motivated to do great things and those just collecting a paycheck hoping to move up one day. -
