Setting up a new wireless controller...

Hi Everyone,

I setup my 1st wireless controller from scratch. I followed the video at...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0ckpts0rvnA

I did have an issue where I could get my APs to find the WLC but was able to console into them and set the IP addresses and it came up fine.

I'm able to connect to the SSID and everything seems great... EXCEPT...

I'm having a routing issue on my router. I can ping the outside world from the router. However, if I ping with a "source", the pings fails. For example, if I type...

ping 4.2.2.2 source 172.16.1.1

it fails when I add the source parameter on the ping command.

Any suggestions on troubleshooting a routing issue? All routes are "connected" routes except for the one static gateway of last resort.

Thanks in advance for your time and consideration.

Your friend,
Paul

Sounds like a NAT issue on the router.
