I booked my trip back in January since I don't want to deal with the hassle of finding nearby lodging in the last few weeks before the event. Being at Mandalay Bay (or Delano in my case) is ideal since I can just walk downstairs and be at the conference. No early morning driving necessary. I'm only doing the Briefings and not Trainings.
I've done the whole suite of BH Trainings/Briefings/DEF CON thing twice ... it ends up being a rather lengthy stay in Vegas. I only do Briefings and DEF CON now.Hopefully-useful stuff I've written: http://kimiushida.com/bitsandpieces/articles/ -

I havent been since 98. So this should be a fun experience.
Luckily I get to do the BH training and briefings, as well as Defcon. -

I will be there as well, work is paying for BH as well as a maltego training course I will be attending a lot of the open bar events
as well especially the one with Alice In Chains performing

I'm in the Pluralsight Happy Hour (4-6PM) and the Cisco Black Hat Party (8-11PM) on Wed the 3rd at Mandalay Bay.Anyone registered for any of the Black Hat parties?
Of course, those are nothing like the DEFCON parties you can find on the Android Hacker Tracker phone app. -
