Where do you keep your certifications?

So like many people here, i've racked up quite a few certifications and plan to keep studying and earn some higher level ones in the future. I currently have them all in a folder in a drawer alone with my score reports.
I was considering getting a nice book with clear sleeve to put them in but i'm not sure which would be best.
What does everyone else do with their certs?

OctalDump Member Posts: 1,722There's been similar threads in the past. Currently I have most of mine, similar to you, collected up in an old bag. I have a couple framed, sitting on the back of a shelf.
From the last threads I read, it varies from people who throw them out (since they are verifiable online anyway) through to people who frame them all and keep them in a trophy room to provide inspiration, and people who frame them and keep them on the wall at their workplace.
In this part of the world it isn't unusual for other professionals to put degrees and professional associations on their office walls, but is unusual in the IT world. I think part of this is that there has historically been a lot of under/un-qualified IT people who wouldn't have much to put on their walls. Some of these people are still in senior positions so might find it threatening maybe, or maybe IT just hasn't had a chance to develop its professional culture and traditions.

markulous Member Posts: 2,394 ■■■■■■■■□□I don't have any paper copies of them. There are some not worth keeping (*cough*CIW*cough*), but I don't see a reason to keep them right now. Maybe with a high-level cert, but I usually just toss them since they can be verified online.

This got me thinking...regular paper is pretty rough on the skin, so what if there was a printer that could print on paper towels(i thought toilet paper was a stretch.) I didn't find a printer, but then I came across custom printed paper towels. After finding that, I thought surely someone must have custom printed toilet paper and I found:
Custom Printed Toilet Paper Rolls
I'm not sure if they'll accept certificates for printing due to copyright/trademark issues. It would be awesome if they did. What better to show your distaste for your certificates. I have a University diploma I might have to look into seeing if they will custom print or not. I might have to pick up some of their political custom printed toilet paper. -
