The current process for students in a VM IT Academy such as Stanly CC is as follows:

Qualifying students receive a PSE voucher good towards the foundations exam at the end of VM ICM and another voucher at the end of VM O&S for the second exam.

Is it possible to only take the icm course sit the PSE foundations exam, and independently study for the vcp-dcv 6.5 PSE exam paying full price for the latter without the voucher. Or is it mandatory to sit both courses before you are eligible to become VCP certified and is it a must you have vouchers for both exams before vmware will issue a credible vcp certification to IT Academy students. Forgive my ignorance but i'm confused just trying to understand.
