I think you misunderstood me. I wasn't looking for a module with serial interfaces.

Dur... See what I get for skimming/speed reading ;)

I think Chris Bryant would die if he smiled, but he's got some good information. Here's the lab setup guides: http://www.thebryantadvantage.com/CCNACCNPFreeHomeLab.htm

I personally have 2x 2520s, 1x 2501, 1x 2511, 1x 2613, and 1x 2950. I'm going to add another 2950 in the near future for trunking, STP, etc., and I should be more than set.

I guess patience is a virtue...

I don't know how I got such a decent deal on this 2509. Doesn't look like the guy sells too much. The description was extremely minimal but I figured I'd try to see how low he'd go by offering $59.99, 40 bucks less than his buy it now price (which I would have also paid). The main reason I'm taking a chance with this item is due to the seller's 100% rating. That's gotta count for something.

Very happy with this win. No more console cable switching! icon_lol.gif

The work in progress lab now officially stands at a 2612, 2509, 2924, and 2950. One more 2610 series router should be good enough for now. I might grab another 2950 soon so I can have 3 switches to play with.

    christ.

And with the 2509 or 2511 you'd no longer have to keep switching out that console cable to configure tham all. icon_wink.gif
