For those that are familiar with Juniper + Cisco's as we all know when working on Junos hitting the enter key completes commands for you e.g.
user@R1>show int[enter]
user@R1>show interface
I didn't know cisco IOS had something similar, as I've been watching couple of cbt's I noticed the instructors are doing something that completes the commands but they don't say what it is and I can't seem to figure out what they're typing. I've tried hitting the enter key it doesn't work, space bar doesn't work. I'm not sure what they're doing but some how they type something and it works. Here is one I remember in interface config mode.
R1(config-if)enca[enter]
R1(config-if)encapsulation
Please advice. Thanks in advance!

You can use the ? (show r?) to see the options in case there is not a unique command for the characters you have typed. Try the tab and ? as you type parts of each word in a multi-word command to get a better idea of how it works.
Remember that you can abbreviate Cisco commands down to just the unique characters.:mike: Cisco Certifications -- Collect the Entire Set! -
