    I have a 26oz water bottle.

I fill it up about 4-5 times daily.

So I think I get my 8 glasses of water daily. icon_lol.gif

For me it's a mixed bag. When I'm in the office I usually drink about a gallon a day (between work and home). When I'm on the road it's a lot harder to maintain hydration. It's mostly due to the fact that when I am visiting a client's location I'm usually glued to my laptop getting as much work done as possible and drinking water becomes an afterthought.

One trick I've learned from frequent traveling:

You aren't allowed to bring water or any other liquid past TSA. Everyone knows that. But what most people don't think to do is to take an empty water bottle, bring THAT through TSA, then either use a water fountain or a soda fountain in the food court to reload your bottle. That way you don't get dinged with $2.50 per bottle water in the air port.

I am probably an outlier in this ad-hoc survey, as I generally aim for 3 liters of water every day (that would be around 12 glasses), plus the additional liquids (soups, milk, tea). I also never drink coffee or alcohol and do my best to avoid other caloric drinks like soda. Thirst is a symptom of dehydration; ideally one should never feel it.

In the morning, it's a protein shake with vitamins.
    Then some coffee
    Either water\ice tea for lunch
1-1.5 liters of water per day.
Sometimes I'll have a V8 in the late afternoon.
    Water with dinner
Then another smaller protein shake about an hour before bed.

I haven't had a sode in years and don't miss it. Coffee is my weakness.
And in conclusion your point was.....???

Don't get so upset...it's just ones and zeros.

I'm right there with you. If I don't get about a gallon a day I feel like crap. I also don't drink sodas or most fruit juices. Many people assume that fruit juices are good for you but compared to just eating the fruit its almost bad for you. Most fruit juices are loaded with sugar and preservatives.

Anyone that played a high school sport or higher knows the #1 rule, in that if your pee isn't clear you're not drinking enough.
