How can we forget the 'hacker on a moving train' awesomeness of Under Siege 2?
Cisco was my first networking love, but my "other" router is a Mikrotik...

I've seen that one. It's a documentary and last I checked, it's on netflix. I must say it was very interesting.

Halle Berry was topless in Swordfish. She showed more skin in the same year with Monster's Ball.
Antitrust is already cited by the original poster.

The Net with Sandra Bullock. Not saying it was a great movie but I didn't see it mentioned yet.
    Thanks, Tom

    Ghost in the machine
    Lawnmower man

I think Lawnmower man really really got me inspired to learn more about hardware and processor architecture (which wasn't as fun as the movie made it seem).
I remember once in my teens I managed to get my hands on the mmx instruction set and spent many weekends oogling at it, even though it made no sense at all to me.

It's already mentioned by the original poster. Did you know that there's a sequel to that movie, The Net 2.0 (Video 2006) - IMDb
It's not as good as the first one. It went straight to DVD.

Thanks everyone for all the posts. Was hoping to stream some from Netflix, but there really isn't any of them there(Hate having them mail them out). Dang you Redbox for putting all of our movie stores out of business! Haha thanks again guys. :)

    How about Johnny Mnemonic

No one ever mentions this because its not technically technical but 'Catch me if you can' is a great movie for someone that is into social engineering. Frank Abagnale pretty much pioneered social engineering. Yes it does have Decrapio in it but it was probably one his better ones.

Also another one that is semi tech related and is a semi horror movie is 'Stay Alive'. I liked that movie just because it was about computer gamers which was the whole reason I got into I.T.

I know this is about movies, but since IT Crowd was mentioned....

I like Code Monkeys...you have to have been a child in the 80s to really appreciate that show. (As well as owned an NES....lmao.)

I really like the song too--it so speaks to my inner nerd. :)
