    Depends.

Today my girlfriend is bringing me lunch and we'll eat it together at work.

Other days I'll go out and get something or bring something in. Usually just sit at my desk and continue to work. icon_lol.gif

There is a nice sandwich shop across the street from my office. I have a nice BBQ smoked sandwich sitting in front of me and reading TE... icon_lol.gificon_lol.gificon_lol.gif

40% bring something, 40% eat out, 20% leftovers from company meetings. Sometimes I take long lunches to go meet with old work buddies. When there are major events in Chicago (like Transformers filming last year) I bring my camera and go on paparazzi mode.

I usually grab something from one of delis at work. Then hit techexams, while eating :D

The majority of the week I bring something from home, which is usually leftovers from dinner. I'll go out to eat every Friday just to get out of the office and end the work week on a high note. And for the moments I forget lunch and can't get out of the office, I keep a TV dinner or two in the freezer for a quick bite to eat.

    Cute.

I usually make my lunch the night before, or I go home. If I'm on the road I'll usually stop somewhere and pickup a sammich from Subway. I try to keep it on the healthy side.

I prepare my lunch or bring leftovers from dinner the previous evening. I can either feed myself on $10 a week for lunches or $10 per a day on just lunch like most of my co-workers.

This is something I definitely need to do (and same for dinner).

I bring my lunch everyday. Saves on gas money. I also take really short lunches so I can get out earlier.

I'm very lucky that the client I am at 3 days a week does a free lunch. They have a full salad bar, sandwiches, chips, cookies, etc. The other two days I usually try to bring in left overs or make a sandwich from stuff I've purchased beforehand. My employer allows us to expense quite a bit of lunches so every now and then, I go out with my co-workers. I try to eat my food earlier than normal so that during my actual "lunch hour" I can go running. Been doing 2.4 miles 3 or 4 days a week.

I usually walk over to the large strip mall across the way and grab a salad. Then back to the office to watch CBTs / read TE. If not, I have lunch with some of the restaurant owners / managers. They have their own little click that I've managed to become resident IT in.

Brown bag lunch 4 days, 1 day I eat out, usually Chipotle or Mexican. Often times I chill at the coffee shop with some coffee and let my mind wander.

That must be some awesome breakfast. I remember when I was younger I could survive the day on just breakfast. Now I need to snack on some fruit on my breaks as well as a sandwich and/or more fruit for lunch.

I used to be the work through lunch type, but now I find its much better for me to get out of the office for an hour. I usually either run home or go to a sit down type restaurant, not much into fast food. Its well worth the extra $50 or so a week to get out and relax IMO. Helps me be more productive when I get back.

I use to work though lunch, now I still sit at my desk but I have decided that I do my own work (for work but my own personal projects), or maybe study. I don't find i need to get away from the screen, just helps break up the day to do something a little less pressured.

I usually take lunch to work, although might pop to the pub on a friday with work mates.

Either juice or buffet? That's quiet a contrast.

Normally I will bring a lunch (usually chicken or tuna on a spinach salad), and we go somewhere on Fridays. My wife is home with our 5 mth old, so lately I go home for the hour and cover for her / play with him so she can eat lunch. She's going back to work in few weeks, and I try to see them as much as possible. I will then make myself something and eat it at my desk while I work after I get back.
