    $119 for both!

Sounds like a plan. I did not see it in any of the earlier posts, but how much did you get the 3550's for?

Turns out I have some extra $$$ so I might pick up a few routers instead of getting gns3 configured.

I am not sure yet, if possible I would like them to last through CCNA Security and hopefully CCNP so I am not just throwing money away. When I get some time I will do some research on CCNP Security labs and see what kind of hardware they are using.

Some woes already and I just set everything up. I bought a USB to serial able since my laptop doesn't have a serial port and even though I installed the windows 7 driver windows won't see the cable. Guess I will be struggling with this all night to get it working.

    Update:

I know it's been a while I started a new job back in Nov 2012 and was able to move back home (I was only going home on the weekends) so I haven't had a huge chance to study. I am getting settled at the new job and have everything hooked up in my garage so I can actually start studying for my CCNA again.
