I'm 3-0 in Microsoft exams. I hope this continues but I'm struggling right now in my studies for the 70-292 MCSA upgrade exam.

Passed 15, failed 2. Failed Implementing Exchange 2000 by one question then nailed it the next week. Also failed Deploying and Securing Apps with Citrix. Still don't know how I failed it but changed to a different path after that anyway so never took it again.

Would like to see Transcender Mikes record!

MS Exams 10-1. Only one I failed was an Exchange 2000 beta exam that I hardly studied. Most of the 10 are old NT exams.

    Comtia 2-0

Citrix 5-1. Was rushed into the XP exam and failed the first time by 1 question.

Yeah, quite different from the Exchange 5.5 exam. I didn't study much for the Ex2000 design exam, but got invited for the beta so wanted to take a peek anyway. After setting it up in a home lab and messing around with the 'new' features, I was hoping that and the load of experience I had with 5.5 would be of help. I was wrong... Especially the infrastructure design aspect changed so much from 5.5 to 2000 (considering 5.5 didn't use Active Directory, had its own directory and sites structure).

I remember reading "the story behind the resume" on Scott Morris that someone posted here. He failed Exchange 5.5. Had trouble converting from MS Mail. He did the NT MCSE in 2 weeks. Good story though.

All vendor neutral exams, if I don't get busy studying Sec+ it just might end up 4-1. icon_lol.gif

I failed the 70-200 exam on Designing Security for MS the first time I took it. Other than that, no problems.
