Hey guys, I'm about ready to embark on this Cert, but I noticed posters talking about a "seperate foundational exam," what's that about? Anyone care to share an overview of the process. I am an iapp member with a current CIPP/US cert if it matters.

I don't see any IAPP certifications or IAPP training that contains the word "foundation." Those posts were made back in 2014, so that exam may have been retired. It seems now that the CIPP/US is the "foundational" exam.

Are there any prerequisites for the IAPP certifications? There doesn't seem to be any mention of prerequisites except for the IAPP Privacy Law Specialist cert.

Aw ok, yea that makes sense. I'm working my way through it now trying to fill in some holes before my book arrives. Lots of fragmented info on Quizlet. Anyone have outline they'd be willing trade/share. I have a CIPP/US (created by me) and CIPP/E (found online) I can share in exchange.

I'd like to see postings from anyone who has the CIPT (Certified Information Privacy Technologist) cert. I'm wondering how recent and deep the technology covered is.
