Passed PMP exam!
Discussion by HamidH · · Home› Certification Preparation› Other Certifications› Project Management CertificationsHello everyone, This was my second attempt, and I got proficient in four processes, and moderate in the closing process. The first time I barely passed initiation and execution. How did I do so well? For the first exam I just studied Rita's cover to cover, and read discussions taking places here, PMP Study Circle, and Deep… -
PMP / CAPM Certifications - Need to know best place to do this certification

Re: Inquiring Suggestions on Career path while unemployed, please help!
You seem to be demanding too much for your limited qualifications. If I'm a hiring manager looking for an IT Project Manager in this economy...what would I see on your resume that would make me want you? You don't have a 4-year degree or a PMP but yet want a job that others with both a 4-year degree AND a PMP will be going… -
Re: Nothing more boring than Project Management
UK primarily does focus on Prince2, though PMP is gaining ground there. Project Management Methodology (whether it's with PMI (CAPM/PMP), Prince2, SCRUM, etc.) is just a framework. PMI, for example, uses 42 processes spread out among 5 process groups across 9 knowledge areas. You are never going to use ALL 42 processes;…
