Got 70-220 but not 214
I got 220 but 214 was a b.... Maybe I should do Sec+ instead. I only need 1 more for my MCSE. I hear Sec+ is hard. Harder than 214? I got a 661 on the 214. I guess I will probably do 214 eventually anyway, for my MCSE-Security.

Passed 70-219 *whew*
That one was a b***h. Passed it last week with a 727. I really don't like the design format -- those exams just take waaay too long. I like the simple multiple choice, choose all that apply, and true/false format of the standard exams. I can usually knock them out in an hour and a half. Much longer than that and my ADD…

Passed 70-219. One more to go
I sat 219 last Friday. Got 670 (613 is passing). I've got only one more to go - the beast. For those taking 219, I got 4 scenarios with 47 questions total. If you passed 217, you should be able to pass this one also. The biggest thing to remember is security setup. Most of the scenarios have at least one question regarding…

24hrs 'til last MCSE
Well its 24hrs until I sit my last (hopefully) MCSE exam (70-221). Actually strangely nervous for sitting this test, much more than I was for sitting my first one (70-210) way back in July. Will report back to forum once sat with the result. Feeling quite confident after sitting the beast, have used ExamCram/Sybex books…

Help? RADIUS is treating me badly.
Hi, folks. I have AD installed, IAS running, and a working RRAS with dial-in access. RADIUS can successfully connect with my RRAS (they're both running on the same computer). I have a remote access policy to grant access to everyone regardless of anything - bad security, but just for testing purposes.. I changed the…

Operation masters roles
Quick question for all you AD techies out there. Suppose we have the following AD structure, where we have 1 empty root domain eg mycorp.com, then we have 8 child domains with each one representing a regional office eg london.mycorp.com. Transcenders etc, say that in this example you would have: 1 Domain naming master 1…

219 Prep tests
Currenty preparing for the above, and likely to sit in 2-3 weeks time. Studied sybex and things are going "in" well.. Question is this, I have used transcenders in the past and for this one, but I only have a "bank" of 3 exams and a total of 12 case studies which means that you can really only practice each exam a handful…

219
Currently studying for the above exam, reading the Sybex book. Im quite a bit through the first few chapters, can anyone tell me in the actual exam, what percentages of the questions are "technical" based and how many are "business goal/management" based ? Help appreciated as always

70-214 for 10/16
Well, I have 70-214 scheduled for next Thursday. It's been a while since my last test, as I have been busy with other things (mainly trying to get a job). This will be my 6th Microsoft exam towards my MCSE:Security track. Once I pass this and 70-220 I will have it completed. I am also supposed to start a job this week.…

Can I get MCSE & MCDBA with the same seven tests?
I've been doing some reading on Microsoft's web site, but I wasn't sure if the following combination will get me both an MCSE and MCDBA 70-210 70-215 (MCDBA) 70-216 (MCDBA) 70-217 70-220 70-228 (MCDBA) 70-229 (MCDBA) I know taking and passing all seven will get me the MCSE, however if I take 70-228 and 70-229 and pass them…

Wrap it up with 221
Okay - I've decided that 3 weeks off after passing the 219 exam is enough. Time to buckle down and finish up this MCSE. Today I scheduled 221 to force myself to start working on it seriously. For me the only thing that seems to kick my ass in gear is to actually schedule the darn test and work to meet that date. I will let…

Next on my schedule - 219
Anybody have any thoughts on what the best way to prepare for the case study format would be? How similar to 217 is the content?

Too many to choose from ???
Looking for some folks to help me decide which elective to wrap up the MCSE with. All feedback welcome. Would be nice to see what others think might add more value to the resume. What do suppose employers would like to see as the electives taken to get you there? I've already taken the core exams (210, 215, 216, 217) and…
