Mail 2 web?
http://www.mail2web.com/
Someone told me about this the other day when I was troubleshooting an issue with a user who could not receive emails using Outlook express. We were able to use the above website to confirm that there was nothing wrong with the configurations...I've just never heard of it before. Is it acceptable to use or should I be weary of it?

Theres plenty of other ways to test configuration without using this.Foolproof systems don't take into account the ingenuity of fools -

Inc Member Posts: 184I would guide the user through a telnet session.
Diagnoses:
- DNS issues
- login/password problems
- notifies if daemon is waiting for unfinished session to terminate (common problem with dial-up users)
- user competence/tolerance level
Also this approach doesn't disclose any sensitive information. So you can support users not knowing their credentials. -
