I know I posted earlier but I'm selling my 3550. I'm about to focus on voice and I managed to pick up a NME-16ES for a pretty sweet price and the 3550 is just taking up space. I'm trying to sell it for $100 shipped or $90 local. Thanks.

Hey everyone I recently got a couple of Cisco 2801 Routers free from work and i'm deciding to keep just one. Both of the routers came with no fans inside although I have used both in my labbing extensively without any heating problems whatsoever. It comes with 256dram/64mb flash card and i'll throw in two WIC-1T cards with it. I'm looking to trade it for any combination of these things: 3550 POE (Inline Power) Switch(es), Quad Core Intel CPU (Preferably Q8xxx or Q9xxx models) or maybe some other thing I may find useful?? Please PM me if interested. Thanks!

Selling an old rig of mine, was using it as a vSphere4 whitebox but I don't need as many servers around as much as I could use cash right now so I'm parting this one out. A friend took some stuff off my hands but didn't have an interest with the motherboard or RAM I went with when I built it.

Motherboard: Asus P6T Deluxe V2. Only includes the board and IO shield, no cables or documentation or original box - tossed all my extra cables when getting rid of clutter. I always do save the plastic shield to protect the CPU socket, so that portion won't get damaged during transport.

    RAM: OCZ 12GB DDR3 PC3-12800 8-8-8 Memory Kit

Asking $75 + shipping together or $50 + shipping for the board and $35 + shipping for the RAM.

Respond or PM here or email me at mike @ the domain in my signature.

Have you bought one for $10? They are 30-40 each usually. I bought all three from these guys -

    http://www.ebay.com/itm/CISCO-WS-C2950-12-Catalyst-2950-Series-Switch-Tested-w-Warranty-tm-/370601585283?pt=COMP_EN_Hubs&hash=item5649936a83

This is $100 for 3 shipped, not one.

The one you posted is $10 starting bid + 20 for shipping for one.

Shipping 3 fedex will cost about 20-30, so that leave 70-80 for 3.

If that's pricey, move on :)

No big deal. Sold for $125 on ebay.

Wonder if that gear is legit. Fort Gordon, GA. 3750 switches (at $2k a pop) on a 250N salary. Just sayin....call me crazy but I also don't know many people who prefer fiber for home labs. Add that to the 3800 series RAM for sale...that is a pretty hefty home lab.

No kidding - back of the truck special me thinks. Trying to get rid of the equipment that way isn't going to work. Put them up on eBay (some fool might take the bait), you probably won't have much luck by posting ridiculous prices like that. This won't work on here mate.

Agreed, I used to work there and those 3750's are a pretty common setup for an eub....or even the JNN on the tactical side. But I know plenty of people who got hooked up with equipment after rehabs were done on the tactical equipment. That still is on the grey side though...

I've got a great home lab right now, mostly because a customer backed out after ordering some equipment. So, until I resell it I'm running it to learn some nice stuff. 3650G-48 (PoE) with fiber connecting to my regular Dell PowerConnect Gb switch (which was $5.00 at the Goodwill!). I have the Cisco switch and a few 10Gb SFP+'s that need a home, but in the meantime, it's study materials. I'd like to keep it, but for a home network, it's WAY overkill (and I rarely say that). No way I would ever use that much power. It's more suited to a small data center or an enterprise network.

It's all legit. The company I work for had to eat the costs, but we're trying to recoup as much as possible by reselling it. No other customer has come close to the needs of the switch.

Agreed. BUT! It seems a little suspicious given the other cirucmstances (username, location, etc). I could be wrong though, 'twas just an observation (out loud) :)
