To your point about getting the degree finished... DO IT NOW! Even if you have to scale back your time commitment during that time when you have a newborn in the house and take less classes, keep your momentum moving forward on the degree.
I has signed up for a master's program a few years ago, and had a new baby and a new job and some other stuff suddenly happen so i dropped out.. and never got back on it. I'm so over committed now that I don't know if I will ever go back.
Recent: 11/2019 - RHCSA (RHEL 7); 2/2019 - Updated VCP to 6.5 (just a few days before VMware discontinued the re-cert policy...)
Working on: RHCE/Ansible
Future: Probably continued Red Hat Immersion, Possibly VCAP Design, or maybe a completely different path. Depends on job demands...
Time to break out the parenting study certification books. lol
