I forgot a job.
2.5: I didn't have a title (that I'm aware of) but I was working in the backroom of a small engineering firm. My work consisted of building kits. One day I would be counting screws making sure that each baggy had the correct amount and the next day I would cutting up chunks of plastic tubing to include in kits. Some days weren't so bad, but sticking 6 or this screw, 3 of that kind, 3 washers, and an instruction manual in a bag gets very old. Especially when it needs done 2,000 times!Decide what to be and go be it. -

5. Night Shift stalker - Lowes, unpacked tracker trailers and I was in charge of putting all the electric stuff away. (21/22)
6. Technical Support Analyst (during school semesters for 2 years) (21 /22 / 23)
7. Network Technician (24) - Last 8 months of my College career (during the summer too) I worked with the colleges network Engineering team which we had over 10,000 ports, two data centers, and started changing from a flat network to a routed network. Also helped out our wireless manager with installing a ton of Wireless N AP's and helped out our voice manager with installing a ton of Cisco VOIP phones (finally getting away from PBX) and configuring them in call manager while helping out end users get used to the phones.
Installed POE enabled 3750 switches too. I was basically in charge of the whole access layer, I helped out the engineers when it came to the big more (distribution layer / core layer). Was a lot of fun and I was wishing for an engineer spot to open before I graduated.
9. Systems Engineer (24)
10. Data Assistant (25) - Temporary contract to help with terminating CAT 5e and CAT 6 cables and some fiber.
8. Help Desk Technician / VTC Facilitator for HP / DISA (25)
9. Systems Administrator - HP / DISA - Same team that I was with when I was a help desk / VTC guy. (25)
10. Systems Administrator - HP / DISA (26)-Now I'm the only SA for another contract within the same building that is a big higher up (I'm basically the domain admin and control a lot more equipment than before. Epo server, SAN, VPN, 30 servers, designing, upgrades, etc).
Those last three positions were in a span of 14 months. Got a promotion from position 8 to 9 within 4 and a half months. Then got the promotion from 9 to 10 seven months later. I graduated college when I was 24.1. Infantryman (National Guard)

3. IT Administrator (Textile Factory)
4. PC Technician (Small 4person PC Repair shop)

Busy as I am the sole IT person! But at least I am never bored!
Some quirky "that's how government is" things that ya have to get use to. Like, there is no merit based rewards. For example, if I were to suddenly acquire a Master of the IT universe degree, it wouldn't help me unless I were to apply for a higher position. The excellent benefits like the $0/month family health insurance (I cover 4 kids and pay nothing but minor copays) and retirement plans are near impossible to beat elsewhere. My agency is also really flexible for taking time off.
As long as I can keep making more money, I don't see myself leaving anytime soon. I've already reclassed from an ITS 2 to a 3 and plan to request a 4 next year. Here...entry-mid level pay is comparable if not better than the private sector. Higher level positions typically pay less from what I am seeing. Benefits being the tradeoff obviously.WGU B.S.IT - 9/1/2015 >>> ??? -

Nice! Thank you for the detail. My mother tells me the same thing about the retirement and insurance benefits. Plus the fact that I can get my loans forgiven too. I guess I should apply and take that civil test in the future. I know were my mom works they have a server farm and work off thin clients which is pretty sweet. -

7.Telemarketer -ran back to my first telemarketing job for like a day
8.Telemarketer -worked here for maybe a week or two selling supposedly free cruises
9.Telemarketer - worked here for a day refinancing mortgages, never actually started
10.Technical Support Professional- My first IT job that i'm working at now doing tech support for Dell
someone from job #9 use to work where i work now but got hurt on the job and failed a urine test so she got fired. Lucky for me because once my girlfriend told her I was studying for my A+ she told me about this place and I never showed up the second day at that old job. I hate telemarketing and i'm glad to finally be doing something I love. The pay for entry level is 12.50 an hour which is more than i've made at any other job. I would've taken a pay cut for my first IT job if I had to.
Edit: I forgot one more job you could probably squeeze in that space between 9 and 10 selling cutlery. I can't even remember if I signed any forms but it was another bs sales job paying only comission. I went to the interview and they talked up the position and never actually revealed all the details about how you have to get your leads through friends and family and the training is unpaid so i didn't show up the next day for that job as well. You really have to watch out for the bs jobs down here in florida. There's a ton of sales positions but the biggest salesmen are the people trying to sell you that bs job that pays you less then minimum wage at the end of the day. I'm happy i'm finally following my dreams despite all the discouragement from my parents. I just have to help my girlfriend find something now. -

Was it Cutco? A friend of mine's fiancee does that, and it just seems like a huge scam (basically multilevel marketing from what I've seen). A girl that worked for him (for about a day) said he would give her names & phone numbers of all his friends from college and have her cold call them to try to either sell them knives or get them to sell them for him LOL. Glad I'm not his friend.[size=-2]Started WGU - BS IT:NDM on 1/1/13, finished 12/31/14
