New AI Security management certification from ISACA
ISACA has a new certification called the Advanced in AI Security Management (AAISM). It's an advanced-level certification for security leaders, and you must have an active CISM or CISSP certification to qualify for it. We've been chatting with Kirsten Lora, the VP Product at ISACA, about it and it seems to be gaining…

Cybersecurity Practitioner Certification (CSX-P) Exam Preparation
Hi Folks, Has anyone taken the official CSX-P training, and did it provide sufficient preparation material to pass the practical exam. Or did you have to supplement with addition non-ISACA material. Is the exam format or length different than when the certification was first released.

I started my ISACA journey last year. Take the first exam CISM in Nov 2019, followed by CISA, CRISC and finally took the CGEIT on April 5 2020 and got provisionally passed. Among the 4 exam, cgeit took me the most time in reading and answering all question, I finished answering all question just at the very last 15 minute…

Passed CISA on my first try
I am grateful to have passed CISA on my first try on Dec 29th 2020. It was the most straightforward ISACA exam I have sat for so far, having earlier passed the CISM and CRISC. I found it much easier than CISM and CRISC. The questions were much clearer and I found that I could pick out my answer after just the first read. I…

Any recent CGEIT Exam Takers?
I'm within about a month of feeling ready to take the exam and thought I'd see if anyone has taken it recently as I'm curious on where it ranks one anyone's estimated difficulty scale in comparison with my CISSP, CISM, and recent CRISC exams? I've tried to read the official CGEIT review manual a few times but it's pretty…

Guide for Starting a Risk & Compliance Consulting Business
Hi all, Whenever I go to local cybersecurity meetups I notice that a lot of folks are Risk & Compliance consultants practicing by themselves without a company where they're employed. Completed All 4 ISACA Exams
Hi All After 3 years of hard work, I completed my last ISACA exam and got a preliminary result as Passed! Here are my feedback about the certifications. I felt CISM and CISA were easiest ones, followed by CGEIT, and CRISC being the most difficult one. My study materials were reading the official book from ISACA site once…

CSX Fundamentals QA Database
Hello all, I have already looked around but didn't find a QA database for CSX Fundamentals, like the one ISACA have for CISA, CISM etc. Is there something else that I could use as a substitute (know about the 25 questions assessment ISACA has on their website). Would also appreciate any other tips you have for exam…

Passed CGEIT
Provisionally passed CGEIT - need to wait the usual 10 working days for validation, official confirmation and obviously certification application after that before using the title. So, feedback - 150 questions, 4 hours, pass mark on scaled scoring from 200-800 with pass mark > 450. Exam was reasonably straightforward (more…

COBIT 5 exam experience?
I searched for the forums for existing threads but they seem outdated. So COBIT 5 for those not familiar with it, is an IT governance framework. I didn't find any cert that focuses on IT Governance except COBIT 5. ISACA offers a free study guide for COBIT 5, but I couldn't find any practice exams. I'm thinking of reading…

CGEIT here we come!!
Already read the official study guide a couple times but I will not start the QA&E manual until I transpose it into a test engine (no, I will not share this!!). Why doesn't ISACA have this online like the other certs? They should at least put the answers at the back of each section instead of directly after each question.…

Just passed my CRISC
It was a grueling 3 hour and 48 minute marathon but I did it! I don't know my score yet. I primarily used a learning tree class (rated 6/10), the crisc review manual (8/10), and the practice question manual (10/10).
