It's the end of the world! Probably not, but it's around that time to think of a couple things, including: Certifications for the 2013 year.
What will you be doing for the 2013 year?
Found a new job and decided to jump ship on a certification to go after a different goal?
Personally:
Linux+
CCNA:Security
CCNA:Voice
Strive to better yourself!

C|EH > CCNA > Upgrade MCSA 2008 to 2012 > CISSP, can't think of anything else right now..... but that should take me well into 2013 maybe all of it.
I have a voucher for VCP5 but I don't want to sit for the exam.....
Do anyone think I should switch the C|EH > CCNA places on my certification path? I got my exam set for mid February for the C|EH. Is CCNA doable in a month with daily-focused study?
Thanks!Passed LOT2 Working on FMV2(CHFI v8 ) Done! -

Essendon Member Posts: 4,546 ■■■■■■■■■■Goals, goals, goals - isnt that what it's all about!
I need to focus on my new job more than anything else, but I hope to be able to spare some time to get me the:
MCSE: Private Cloud and
VCAP-DCA. This should net me 3 certs (an additional MCTS while doing the PC)
Aim high guys, aim big. Set lofty goals (dont go overboard though), say you set out to achieve 6 certs this year but you only got to 4, that's still very good. Go all out when you study. Aim for the stars and you may get to the clouds! -

Imagine if a number of us got together to create a startup of our own. With all the talent, knowledge, wisdom and experience we have got here - Man, we could take the world by storm!
Seriously though, I've been thinking of this for a while now. Anyone have any ideas? The main issue here would be that members are so geographically dispersed that it doesnt look like a feasible idea. O well... -
gatorfan Member Posts: 17 ■□□□□□□□□□Start with Network+ and MTA 98-349, find a job with those and the 98-366 I just got.
After that CompTia Cloud Essentials (should I bother?) and possibly A+ and Sec+. Following that I will probably either go for higher level Microsoft and/or Cisco certs just to open myself up to a wide variety of companies. Now that I got my first cert I want to keep going.
