EIGRP
When a succesor fails and a FS is found in the TP i have read no recalculation occurs.Since the metric of the new successor can be different than the previous successor will updates be sent to nofify neighbours of the change in metric and does this not cause a recalculation? BGP in home lab
Has anyone set BGP up in a lab environment? I have 3 spare routers to play with. They are all using an IGP in the same AS. BGP lab config (need help finishing)
you can't run bgp without a working igp. since you can't ping the loopbacks the igp is broken. are your loopbacks defined in the igp process ? ie network 2.2.2.2 0.0.0.0 area whatever ? you also need ip reachability to whomever you want to peer with. peering with the loopbacks is normal. peering with "other" ip's doesn't…

I want to stop people on a VLAN from seeing each other in the network on a 2950-c switch. This is done with "Switch port protection" at layer 2.
