Hi guys okay maybe I just reboot the router and it will just show the commands but I wanted to ask you guys what you think and if you have ever encountered something like this. Okay. My problem is this. I have 2 1921 routers both are mpls T1 csu/dsu routers on a BGP network. Both have 15.3 the exact same ios name and dot…
I understand that it has to look at the next hop address to see where to forward the next hop labels or something like that. I know that VRF is to separate the routing table for different customers. VPNv4 is IPv4 + RD used to separate different private ipv4 address BGP is used to transport VPNv4 since it is multiple…
Hello guys, i was wondering, i have seen some choices to study for the CCNP, concerning the lab materials, what do you think is the best? if i already own the CCNP Foundation learning guide, do you think is better to go with Online Cisco Labs (100 dlls per exam), to go to a vendor and buy the workbooks, or the last option…
I understand that for IGP that the network command determines which interface the routing protocol is advertised. How is this different in bgp? int lo1 1.1.1.1 255.255.255.0 router bgp 1 network 1.1.1.1 mask 255.255.255.0 ! not allowed only network 2.2.2.2 mask 255.255.255.255 is allowed. Why?
My WRONG understanding: Equipment configured with OSPF will communicate with one another. eBGP ensures communication of different routing protocols in other AS. Since OSPF is configured for equipment within the same AS and they can already talk, why is ibgp necessary? Is it another layer of protection? I know that ibgp…
Team- Do we have any Patch notifications devices for network equipment in the marketplace, which queries the product vendor's servers and updates patches?
I passed the SISAS this week. I got a 930/1000. I could help provide some insight to the topics you'd need to focus on for the exam as much as I can without breaking the rules.
CCNP done as of this morning. Studied official Cisco Press books starting in January. I also used Chris Bryant's series on Udemy. Took the exams in this order: Route (passed 1st time) - April 2015 Switch (passed 1st time) - June 2015 T-Shoot (failed once with 806, passed a week later with 951) - September 2015 I downloaded…
Hey everyone I'm studying for CCNP SWITCH 300-115 and in private vlans section their is something that make me confused "Secondary vlans can communicate with each other but cannot communicate with other secondary vlans" so my question is if i have a situation like this : assume all configuration are good so those PC…
Sorry, I did read the READ ME at the top... Well I skimmed it and most of those post are pretty old when it comes to actual gear for labs. I'm thinking about buying a couple of 24 port 3750s to wrap up my CCNA Sec and then move on to CCNP. Would you say the 3750 is a good switch or should I find something a little better?
