Passed 103 & 104
Passed both with pretty good scores. It was difficult at times but over all i think the book i had prepared me for it, plus my instructor highlighted areas that were exacly on the exam. Book: CompTIA Linux+ Guide to Linux Certifications by Jasion W. Eckert

Passed LX0-103, 09/15/2017
My thoughts' This test is ALOT easier than I thought it would be. I felt like A+ gave me a harder time tbh. Had about 6-9 fill in the blanks, felt like I got half of those right. I used these materials to study for the exam: Pearson Comptia Linux+/LPIC-1 Book uCertify.com Skillport uCertify is the BEST resource to use BY…

Passed the CySA+ today, 4/10/18
Passed comfortably today. Here was my study plan: - I took 6 weeks to prepare of the exam; utilizing 1 hour per day or 2 hours per day on weekends. I would read the Kindle book on my phone to fill time (rest room, doctor's office, oil change, etc). About 50 hours of study. - Resources 1. Udemy course "CompTIA CySA+…

CySA+ passed
Barely passed it. It was harder than my CCNA. studied for three weeks @ 14 hours a day or roughly 290 hours.

CySA+ Study Chronicles
So I embarked on a 14 week learning journey, with the CySA+ certification as the tangible end goal that started January 1, 2018. This post chronicles my choice of personal study resources and curriculum. It's an unproven curriculum as I haven't taken the exam yet. I do intend to score very highly on this exam though. Why:…

Linux Plus pass advice?
Good afternoon tech family, So today I took the Linux + LX0-103 and failed with a 340. This is my second attempt at taking it. For some apparent reason I'm having a extremely tough time passing this cert. I heard the next half of it is alot easier. For those who've passed this test, what materials did you use to pass? I…

Did the CompTIA CyberSecurity Analyst+ JTA
Back in January techexamer Qord posted a link to CompTIA looking for SMEs for a new certification labeled as Cybersecurity Analyst+. I answered the call and signed up for the workshop. I spent this whole week at their headquarters in the Chicago burbs working hard on this project. I've done a few JTAs for SANS/GIAC before…

Thoughts on testout Linux pro
I know everyone strongly recommends Linux Academy but has anyone tried using testout Linux pro to pass? I took the class in UMUC and I still have access to the course. I also have access to Safari books and I have started reading the book. I feel like I can tackle both exams by the end of the summer if I actually put forth…

Passed the CySA+
Today I passed the CySA+ with a 809 after 10 days of study. Why such short study time? Well I just realized my A+, Net+ and Sec+ were are set to expire on April 3rd, so I decided to go for the CySA+ to get the 3 certs re-certified plus a new one! I was very nervous going in as what I heard about this test made me think I…

passed CV0-001
Good morning, all! I passed the 001 version of Cloud+ yesterday with an 847. Study materials used: McGraw-Hill's Cloud+ book by Stammer and Wilson McGraw-Hill's Cloud Essentials book LearnKey practice exams from both above books. A bit of a hassle getting the bonus exams, but McGH tech support got me squared away. I did…

Project+ Certified!
A little disclaimer before I begin, I do not have a PM background and did not receive any formal coursework. I decided to buy a book on Amazon and read it for about one week because why not? I sat for the exam this morning and was able to complete it in 30 minutes! I was exposed to some terms at work and through ITIL but…

Sat the PenTest+ Beta
That was a really interesting exam. I don't think I passed, I was not prepared for how in-depth it got on all of the nmap switches, lots of questions on that tool alone. But, I don't have a Pentesting background, I took it because of how cheap the exam was, I figured it was a nice way to see what was on the exam for later…
-
Passed CySa+
No joke this exam was rough! I would say it wasn't as hard as GCIH but definitely harder than CEH. For those that wondering about the amount of log questions, I would honestly say a majority of the exam was riddled with logs but they weren't too difficult. The SIMS I saved for last after glancing the first question for…

Pentest+ resources
I just wanted to post on how I am preparing for this exam in late April...I probably won't pass the exam, only because I am not a programmer and feel I won't be prepared. I'm going in!
Project+ exam is scheduled for Wed, March 28. Any last words of advice? Primary study material has been the Sybex Project+ Study Guide 2nd Edition and the practice questions. Supplemented by reading various PMP blog posts, https://pmstudycircle.com/ in particular.

Can you study for Proj + with PMP materials
So I have Joseph Phillips PMP Book and Udemy course... so that's the end goal but I'm going to use Proj + as a placeholder and confidence builder before taking the PMP. If I use the PMP materials to study from will I be good to go? Are the 47 processes focused on in Proj + or just concepts?

Passed CySA+ (Still shell shocled)
1 month of unfocused study + 1 month of intense study. Primarily used Udemy courses by Jason Dion (A+), Brent Chapman (A+), and Joseph Holbrook (C). Also had the Sybex Study guide, but could have utilized it more. As a result, test was more difficult than expected. Had a false sense of security coming into the exam even…

Sitting the PenTest+ Beta in a Month
So back in November I passed my Security+ Exam to grasp the fundamentals of Security. Hello all, So some days ago I picked myself up and wanted to get to study more and focus my attention towards server certificates. While I realize this is an entry level Project Management cert.....
....I'm really enjoying the study materials. My organization has a huge problem with project management, we simply can't do it effectively in any way, shape, or form and often just go in circles. CertMaster or UCerify for CompTIA CSA?
I currently have my Sec+ and looking to get my CSA Cert. Looks like my 2 big option are UCertify (Lessons, Test Prep, Labs) Or Certmaster (which comes with 2 exam vouchers). Question about certifying
Hi, I was just wondering if I were to pass the Project+ would this affect my A+ and Net+ certifications. I remember long ago when they started the re-certifying that…

Failed with a 470
Definitely one of the harder CompTIA tests. First time doing this one. Also, those fill in the blanks take up a huuuuuuuuge portion of the…

CSA+ : how learn the log files
Practically everything I have read about this exam claims: you have to *really* know how to interoperate log files. Maybe there are some web sources to learn all about the log files? I…

Passed Server+! 6 for 6!
I passed with a 785. The minimum score to pass is a 750. The test was hard, mainly because I read the All-in-One Server+ book off and on. I did not use any other resource, which I should have because there were things covered in the exam that were not covered in the book.

CSA+ question value

Just passed the exam with an 811. I felt it was made of very fair questions that made you considered what was really being asked. Weird Server+ Exam Experience
I took the exam today. When I was roughly 2/3 through I was not so sure I would pass.
