After taking a refresher course online and receiving a free voucher from it for the 005, I booked and took my N10-005 today, and passed. I've been studying for the past week using the ExamCram book, Transcender Exams, and just generally brushing up on my knowledge. The exam itself was different from what I was expecting,…

Studied for N10-006, should I consider cramming and take N10-005 instead?
Hi Everyone! I just finished studying the N10-006 Cert Guide and thought I had a good grasp of the topics. I am taking some practice tests and am not getting as high as a score as I wanted before taking the exam. Weaker points are Security and Comptia's Industry standards and practices sections. Passed my Network+ exam!
Passed the N10-005 today with a 797. I studied for the N10-006 for about a month but switched to the N10-005 content for a week before the exam. Honestly, I don't remember anything in N10-006 material that didn't apply to the N10-005 exam. Simulations were interesting, one was more head scratching then the others due to…

ACL question
This question comes from quizlet https://quizlet.com/81320023/n10-631-660-flash-cards/ Ive worked out the subnets, each of them is a network address. the question doesnt say if the server and user are on the same subnet. and doesn't give a subnet address for the user or server, so I dont understand why all three deny lines…

How hard is Network+
I got my A+ certification 2 years ago and now I'm working towards the Net+ and Sec+. In your opinion, how hard is the Network+ compared to the A+? I know that the A+ has more stuff to learn and the Net+ has less content but does that make it any easier?

After constantly putting it off... I
finally passed network+! With only two weeks to go for the 005, I just finally buckled down and got it done! Only got 730, but a pass is a pass! Professor Messer, Exam Cram, and a little Cybrary is what I used. Certmaster was WORTHLESS to me for N+ But anyway... WooHoo to me!

passed N10 005
Advice to all, skip all the simulations in the beginning and return to them after all other questions are done. I almost panicked and used too much time at first. Skipping allowed me to clear my head, relax and restore my confidence answering easier questions. 771/900, not great but a massive relief considering how the…

Understanding tracert command on Windows
So I am studying routing protocols and TTL/hop count/etc etc etc for Net+, and decided to mess around with tracert in cmd. I traced google.com. Why does each hop have 3 separate values? How necessary are both A+ and N+?
Say you know for sure you want to concentrate on the server side of things only. Is it really necessary to go from A+ to N+, or does it make more sense to go from A+ to windows certs?
