Server+ or Linux+ first?
After failing the CASP, I need to brush up on my knowledge of Linux, and probably servers too. So I was probably going to take both Linux+ and Server+ for those that have taken both, should I take one before the other?

I'm in the club, Finally passed LX0-103/104
First I must say that I procrastinated like crazy. I ordered the Sybex book about this time last year and it pretty much took my the entire year to read it. I stopped and started more than once and at some point stopped all together and started studying for Network+ (did the same thing with that also). I set a few dates,…

Project + vs Network + or Security +
For those of you who have taken and passed the exam, how is it in terms of vagueness? If you have taken the Security + then you know what I am talking about. The questions are not straight forward at time. I am wondering if this is the same with Project +. I interviewed with a company for a project administrator position…

LPIC vs Comptia
Hello, I have heard that the LPIC 101 & 102 are the exact same tests as Comptia LX0-101 & LX0-102. Can anyone shed light on this. I am using CBT Nuggets. The instructor keeps talking about LPIC and I want to make sure I am not wasting my time. I noticed that CBT and Labsim discuss different things.

Passed Linux+ 104 exam last week
I passed LX0-104 last week with a 780! I did not expect that result. I went through Skillsoft, Labsim, and UCertify. I also used the Linux+ Certification guide. I forced myself to use the command line for everything. I also remember someone mentioning study questions and the quizlets. I used those too.

Jumping Into Linux+
I finished A+, Net+, and Security+ last year in about 4 months during a layoff. I took some time off certs to finish up college and finally landed another job in June. Being done with school has allowed me to once again look towards Linux+ and given me the motivation to finally vanquish this certification and move on to…

Passed Project+ this week - here's my advise
I passed the exam, barely. The exam was required for a WGU class. I could have worked much harder on studying, but I didn't. Still passed. Here's my advise: - Don't stress over the formulas. Spend the majority of your time on memorizing terminology - Read the questions twice, make sure you understand what is being asked -…

SK0-003 lifetime vs SK0-004?
A colleague of mine is considering taking the Server+, but between the two of us... we recall reading somewhere that the SK0-003 is a lifetime certification and that the SK0-004 requires the typical CompTIA continuing education requirement of every three years. Can anybody confirm and possibly provide a source? Thank you

Suggestions for LX0-104 Exam (passed 103, failed 104)
Hey everyone. Just went through a two week Linux+ Bootcamp. We covered the 103 in the first week and then took the exam which was very easy and drew from all the quizzes and labs we used in class. Everyone passed with flying colors. No one got under a 700 on the exam. The 104 we covered in the second week was a different…
