Took the 801 on april 4th and the 802 on april 8th(yesterday). spent about a week studying for the first one and four days studying for the 802. feels good to be able to put A+ certified technician on my resume:)

Does anyone have any knowledge as to how long the 801/802 exams will be offered? With Windows 8/8.1 having been released for some time now, will CompTIA retire those exams in favor of a new version focusing on Windows 8 sometime in the near future?

Good morning/evening all! Just wanted to let yall know that I'll be taking my 801 on the 2nd of Jan and my 802 the 3rd of Jan. Would love wishes of luck and such! Thank you all for the overall support. I will keep updates on my progress here in this thread.

Prep for 801/802, any other ideas besides what im doing?
I lack the 12+ months of field experience the exam objectives specify. I have read Mikey Meyers A+ book, but it was 4-5 years ago and for a different A+.
