Detecting an IP conflict without the use of dhcp?
I was setting up a few routers in my test labs and I accidentally configured 2 routers' interface with the same IP address. I know there is a way to detect such IP conflict by using 'ip dhcp conflict logging' but is there any other way without running DHCP? Would a 'debug ip' type of command also works?

Creating vlans at the core layer ?
Hi guys ..... I already did asked this Question in CCNP section but they say it need experts to answer this. here you go guys. What are the pros and cons of creating VLans at the core layer in cisco hierarchal design?? Keeping the in the distro layer isn't just better ?
