Enough Materials?
I was just wondering if the following materials will be enough to pass the test, as long as I know them well: TestOut: Security+ uCertify: Security+ uCertify: CIW Security Analyst TechExams: All 3 quizzes. And http://www.proprofs.com/quiz-school/story.php?title=Comptia-Security-Practice-Exam-2 I read a couple places on…

Just Passed, now Asado
I just passed with 852, It wasn't difficult and there is plenty of time I felt that I had 120 questions on MAC, RBAC and DAC. A Couple on PKI and a couple of PGP, just a couple on policies, couple of Ports and the rest common sense. Two or three questions had no sense and I had to read them a couple of times. Now is time…

Is Sec+ useful on its own?
First off, I am aware that you can apply Sec+ as an elective to Mcse, which is quite useful. But. I just can't seem to see a lot of demand/recognition of it on its own. Did it help any of you find a job, or do you see jobs that require Security+ ? I mean, don't get me wrong, it is a cool thing to have, but does it help…

Hi there, Well next year I plan on at least doing my MSCA 2003. Ive noticed that you can do S+ as an elective if chosen. I checked the comptia website and couldnt see any prerequisite for the S+…

Passed!
Passed with a 786. I feel that the test was too easy and wish I knew exactly which ones I missed. I was forced by the Air Force to take it, so i just studied practice exams. I found most of the questions to be almost identical to the Transcender exams. But I would also suggest reading up on Wikipedia and Tech Notes.…

I've had quite a bit of experience in the past so I didn't put much focus on it. Scored in the 700's Net+ ($115) = 45 days for…

Hubs not secure!!
Hubs are not secure because basically any information destined to any host connected to the hub is actually broadcasted on everybody's wire. So with the right tool any host can "sniff" data even if it's not intented for them. The intended destination answers though. Right?? Well, lets see I know there's a way to capture…

School and Certs
Hi All, I thought I would share a good experience, I started going to Western Governors U. a little ways back and I really like it for an online school. Passed 830
Took the Security+ exam today and passed with an 830.
