Hi All, A quick query in regards to the Citrix and the Cloud AWS Integration which needs to be done for a test bed environment creation which I am creating. The details needed are the feasibility of the Citrix 7.6 application/software installation along with AWS windows VMs and also if this is the best way ahead in long…
Let’s say that you have two SANs with three datastores each. --SAN1---|---SAN2--|--1DS1---|---2DS1-- --1DS2---|---2DS2-- --1DS3---|---2DS3-- Now let’s say that you have 4 VMs that you want that you want to make sure stay on separate SAN in case one of the physical SANs goes down you still have a VM up. VM1 and VM3 will…
Just curious
I finished the course last year ( almost a year exactly )....Lots of things came up this year and I wasn't able to site for the exam. However I am looking at it again, and now when I login to VMware I don't see anywhere were it says I took the course. Under transcripts it says nothing on the VMware site....Am I looking in…
Hi everyone, I'm about to take the exam and am a bit confused as to what the passing score is. I know its 300 or more out of 500, and that it's weighted, but if you had to say a % what would it be? Should I be shooting for say 85%?
Of course they announced this while I was on vacation but I was still able to snag a seat for the exam. I haven't even read the prep guide but still forked over the $100 fee. VCAP6 Deployment Lab Beta Exams: Register Now! - VMware Education and Certification Blog - VMware Blogs

I've been setting up a lab with some old equipment from work for running nested ESXi and preparing for the VCP. Right now, I have a Xeon e5-2650 v3 and 16GB of RAM (to be expanded). I also have an older server with a M5015 flashed with LSI firmware and 4x 4TB WD Red HDDs that I can use directly in the frame or in a NAS.…
is it possible to run freebsd inside of a vm? I want to virtualise my freenas (and maybe change to nas4free as to use less system resources) server and have it run alongside windows to play my videos/music in jriver rather than be forced to use plex which i have found to be total junk
Anyone notice they have a $50 VCA lab token, $200 - VMware vSphere 5.1 ICM Labs, and $200 - VMware vSphere 5.5 ICM labs now or "coming soon"? This looks pretty interesting. Not only this but there is still the Free 70% off VCP Voucher as well. This voucher apparently does not even require an approved VMware course to test…
