Hi all.... I'm about to buy 3550 SMI 24 ports. I just wanna know before buying! can i upgrade SMI to EMI? IS it a software or a hardware issue ? Is SMI is very good for CCNP studies? Is it better to have EMI ?

just wondering what would be the cheapest and most efficient set up for some hands on labs to prep for the BSCI exam. so far i have 2 2501 routers. i was thinking about getting atleast 3 more 2501's. would this be sufficient enough for the BSCI exam sims? if so, anybody got any used 2501 routers that they want to sell.…
