Passed the Security+ exam
Yeeessss!!!! I passed the exam with an 820 today. I must say that near the end I was feeling a little anxious. Not because of the time but because of the questions I received near the end. I thought it was adaptive at first, LOL, but I was able to put on my thinking cap and finish strong. I pretty much only used Darril…

Security+ only valid for 2 years???
Is the Security+ really only valid for 2 years? I got my Certificate in the mail today it say it is my certification is only valid through April 2012, which is just over 2 years. I was under the impression the Network+ and Security+ were certs that did not expire. Does 2 years seem a bit short to anyone? I mean the CCNA is…

Confidence gone.
Hi all, Havent posted in a longggggg time. Last March I took the sesurity+ exam at the personal cost of over 300 euro, I failed it by one or two questions and as a result felt very bitter about the whole thing as I literally ripped the sybex book apart cover to cover. There is no way I am going to hand over a load of cash…

Passed yesterday with an 835!!!
After taking the SY0-101 about 6 months ago and missed passing by a few points I finally retook the exam and passed the SY0-201 this time. I felt it had a lot better wording and structure this time around. I read Darrill's book cover to cover and found it covered all of the topics and concepts very well. I also used…

Not what I expected.
I sat the security+ exam today after studying for about a month. I used Syngress study guide 3rd edition. Transcenders for study questions and some home made flash cards. I felt a little underwhelmed with the experience though. Almost let down. It's a lot of material covering a wide range of topics. I passed with an 865…

Partial credit?
Many multiple-choice questions (as seen in many practice exams) for the Security+ exam require more than one answer. If you were asked to select 3 answers, and you select two that are correct, and one that isn't... would you get partial credit, or will you lose the entire score for that question?

In Security + exam mark question for review... question
I see some people who took the Comptia Security + exam say that you can "mark each question for review", so at the end of the test you can go back and make changes, if needed. Passed Security+
Just returned from the testing center. Passed with a 852/900. I used the All-In-One and Exam Cram books with MeasureUp practice tests. It's over.
'Passed with an 865 last Monday. I'm really pleased that it's over. I found the material uninspiring and the test was horrible. I passed with an 860. I must say this test was more difficult than I thought, took the whole 90 min and ran into a problem with the testing software.
