Passed Network+ today
Wasn't the score I wanted. 775/900. Ideally, I would have like it in the low-mid 800's. But happy with the pass. My next steps would be going for the Server+ and Security+ before I close the book on entry level certifications.

N10-004 vs. N10-005
* Has anyone taken one and then bridged to the second? * Any word on the difficulty or difference between the two? I checked the exam objectives but a lot of it looks like reorganization. * What can you guys see that they got rid of or added to the 005?

Net+ Questions
Without revealing too much information, is the Net+ exam a lot like the A+ where they take the trivia information and turn it into "apply this to a real world situation" or is it just trivia. To clarify, on the A+ they would ask real-world questions such as how to "fix this" or "solve that". Is the net+ the same?

Network+ Today!
On my birthday of all days :D I'm sitting the N10-004 version, are there any major topics that I should give a last minute going over before sitting this? I have my own list of weaker topics but I'm wondering if there's any which are tested more heavily than others.

Network+ Nerves No Longer (I PASSED!)
Starting to get pretty nervous that I will see questions I'm not prepared for on my Network+ exam tomorrow. What is the likelihood I will be caught off guard by material I am not familiar with? Has anyone else had problems with this in the past? Thanks! UPDATE I passed! 810/900. It took me a little less than an hour to…

A day in the life of a network admin
I was wondering what the average day for a network admin was like. I was hired for a desktop support position but I soon ended up doing stuff that should be the network admin's job. I really don't consider myself as the network admin but I seem to be doing more and more of his job (with little help form him) I hope to have…

How would you use a multimeter to determine a wire pair on 100 block in another room?
Hi, I've been taking practice tests for the Network+ and I see this question a lot but I haven't the slightest clue as to how this is done. So the question is: How do you use a multimeter to determine a wire pair running from a jack to the 100 block it's terminated at in another room? How exactly do you determine which…

Subnetting question
I've been doing quite a bit of subnetting recently and its starting to click. But then I ran into a question with a little different format and asks a question I'm not used to. Subnetting on Network+
How detailed of subnetting questions should I be prepared for? Do they expect you to know how to subnet a Class B and C address, how many hosts and networks are available for each subnet?
