Just a heads-up that the objectives for the CISSP-ISSAP and CISSP-ISSEP concentrations are changing later in 2020: From the CISSP-ISSAP Web page: "Effective October 14, 2020, the CISSP-ISSAP exam will be based on a new exam outline. The domains and their weights have changed. Please refer to the CISSP-ISSAP Exam Outline…
I passed the CISSP-ISSEP on Saturday, July 11th, 2020. Overall, the exam was not as difficult as I expected it to be. In my opinion, ISSAP was more difficult. I believe the exam outline is changing later this year (October?) and it is reducing from 150 questions to 125 questions. Please see the suggested study material…
Well, like most others in this sub-forum, I've decided to take the leap. More out of boredom than anything else, as I don't need the cert for my job and I'm not sure I'll ever need it. As far as experience, I've been working in IT for about 14 years, and doing security for about 8. I have Sec+, CEH, and CASP. I started…

I am happy to say that I finally passed the CISSP exam after my third attempt. I want thank God first and then this CISSP community for playing a huge role in my success on the exam. 5…
I have my CISSP and am currently gearing up for the CISM exam. I am currently using the CISM AIO by Peter Gregory but plan on also using the online Q&A database. The reason I am posting here is because I want to know if any CISMs supplemented their CISM studies with the Shon Harris CISSP AIO book. I just cracked my CISSP…
Other than the normal advice of not giving up and trying to sit for the exam again, I’m just seeking some advice on where to move on from here. My CISSP journey started in 2017 and I’ve failed it no less than 3 times. Once a year since 2017. The sections I got right in 2018, I got wrong in 2019. There was no consistency in…
Passed today at 100 questions! Thanks to everyone who offered suggestions and advice, either directly or by posting your own experiences. I used Cybrary.IT video series, Sybex 8th Ed. and included practice questions, 11th Hour, and Boson practice tests. Supplemented with Quizlet, Wikipedia, and the Memory Palace PDF. Like…
