Loopback Interfaces
I realize that it is a BP to have loopback interfaces setup for routing. What I've been trying to figure out is exactly why? Can someone give me a brief rundown. I know I've read through that before, but can't remember the logic behind it.

Unitek vs. Global Knowledge CCNA Boot Camp in the Bay Area
I know that probably most people say just study hard, but was looking to get a CCNA quick in a week as I have networking experience. Fast, but expensive way to get it out quickly. Anyone have experience with either? I did notice that Global Knowledge is about $1000 more than Unitek. Was quite surprised! Thanks

Finally a running GNS3 lab!!!
I was finally able to setup a simple lab to practice on GNS3. This is a way cheaper solution for me, as I cannot afford all the gear for a physical lab, yet. Okay, so I had 3 Cisco 3640 routers, and 1 switch. This is what I did. I connected three routers to each other, with the generic EtherSwitch in between routers 1 and…

So let me get this right... (640-8XX Questions)
So if I understand this correctly, I can take ICND1 for 40-50 questions, then ICND2 for 40-50 questions, for a total of 80-100 questions -OR- I can take 640-802 for a grand total of 45-55 questions and both result in a CCNA cert? If this is truly the case, why wouldn't everyone just do the 640-802? I mean aren't you in…

Cleaning out a office today I picked up 6-10 7940's or might be 7960's and a 3550 POE switch. What would be the recommendation on routers/hardware to get these working?
