Good evening all, I know you probably had a lot of people ask how long does it take to study for the Network+ but how long did it take you to pass this exam? Also, what resources do you recommend? Many thanks.
Hi there, Currently studying for Net + and I don't have any hands on experience at all (yeah it sucks!) But I do have A+ so I kind of know the basic/general concepts of networking. I'm currently using Myers Network + study guide and going over Prof. Messer's videos as well. Any tips from someone that passed the Network+…
So I've started a week ago studying for Net+ I am currently reading Mike Meyers Net+ book, doing 1-2 chapters everyday. I notice a lot of people say his book is not complete and has some extra which doesn't help. It's been an easy read for me so far, so I plan to finish it. While reading I also take notes cuz that's my…
Hi guys, I took and failed Net+ with a 680/900 this morning. I was baffled by some of the questions I got- I had spent a lot of time practicing subnet calculations and I didn't see a single question relating to that on the entire test. Instead, I got an extreme number of CMD prompt output related questions and "what would…
I have this book: CompTIA N+ N10-006 Cert Guide and the Mike Meyers N10-006 Full PDF I also have the Proff. Messer **** sheet for N+ and all the Videos saved. I also have the CBTNugget Videos along with Practice Exams and Total Tester N10-006 i'm currently in a Free IT Course and they are just going over the Cert Guide…
Could anyone offer a little more insight onto 1.11 objectives on the Net+ of the virtual routers and firewalls ? Mike Meyers offers a little information on it and even with Prof. Messers explanation I am a bit confused. I understand that the bridging of the physical NIC of the server to the virtual NICs of the VMs is the…
So, I've got my NET+ exam coming up in the next couple of days. I've been using most of the popular online resources such as ITPRO.TV, CBT Nuggest, Prof Messer etc. Finally got the hang of subnetting... Any suggestions for topics to cram for the last couple of days? Cheers!
Well, I passed N10-006 yesterday, if barely, but it was DIFFICULTt! I passed CCNA in the past, but I'd say in some ways Network+ is more difficult to study 'cause the topics are vast and picked quite randomly. Also, seemingly MOST (I'd say 90%) of the questions were totally new. Another thing is: I found very few of those…
Im looking to take the Network+ cert test and need a good comprehensive study guide or book. A professor at my community college recommended the Barker and Wallace Comptia Cert guide book N10-006. Should I go ahead and get this or get something else?
Anyone know of any free or cheap ebooks for the network+ exam?
