Struggling with the hybrid cloud & new technologies
First off I'm struggling with the hybrid cloud complexity, I just can't get my head around how these networks work and how these are implemented. Does anybody know of a good resource (video/book/site) that would make it easier to digest? How are we meant to learn about hybrid clouds if it costs money to spin up a VM in the…

Which do you prefer? The vSphere Client or the vSphere Web Client?
Just gauging an opinion here, I looove the vSphere Client. It's fast, easy to navigate, it's fast again! The web client is uuugh, it's sooo slow, it's clunky, it's not easy to navigate. Am I wrong here? So a simple question, not that we have much of a choice coming up with the vSphere Client being deprecated... Which do…

VCP510 exam preparation

I love notes, but at this point it feels like I'm writing a book that I'm none too sure I want to finish. Plus, the sheer quantity…

First VMware certification
I'm finishing up my MCSA 2008 in June. Once that is complete I've decided i'm going to start working on vmware certifications. I'm currently a system administrator at my job where my primary roles are vmware, storage and system administration (troubleshooting stuff). I'm completely ignorant of how the vmware certification…

I've signed up for the Stanly course a few months ago, and anticipate being in the August term , I bought Scott Lowes mastering 5.5 book and realised that the Stanly course is 5.1 after I purchased, will this make a big difference, should I use the 5.1 book?
