Afterwards I got my Net+ and Security+ but havent gone back to Pass the A+ OS. Im sure it wouldnt hurt to get it, but quite frankly,…

Just Saying Hello
Hi all, new to the forum. Just passed the OS Exam with a not too bad 604, would have liked more, but too many NT 4.0 questions... ho hum. 675 on hardware was a bit better. I should have worked harder. Would recommend Mike Myers book.

passed OS
I just passed the OS portion with a 704 and now I'm A+ certified. The OS to me was harder than the hardware portion. I didn't expect 100 questions, but some of them seemed geared toward the new A+ objectives to be released later this year. For example I had several with helpdesk situations and workplace ethics. Didn't…

Just did something crazy...
Just a little backstory here...about 2.5 years ago I had taken the A+ Core Hardware test having barely studied it at all and passed with a 696. Unfortunately I had taken it almost exactly 2 weeks prior to the switchover to the 2003 objectives. I never followed up with the OS test, and of course after a year my opportunity…

Practice Exam question on Displays
It looked funny to me at least in the first question in this sites test questions for displays that is said an image is put onto the screen. I always thought that a phosphor-coated screen was hit by electrons? The questions sounded more like one for a rear projection set with three guns in it. :)

Passed A+ OS yesterday
Passed w/ 757. I was suprised, because I found the questions to be harder than I expected. There were ones I'd never heard of before and was reduced to guessing.
