Hey all, Not really certification-related, but I've got to do some switch upgrades in a new environment and have some concerns. The 3750 stacks I'm working with are pretty large (some are 9 deep), and not all contain the same model and firmware type. For example, at least one stack contains both 3750G and 3750X switches…
I have a question about an S1 0/0 connected to S2 0/1: S1: interface S0/0 switchport mode access switchport port-security switchport port-security max 1 switchport port-security mac-address sticky speed auto duplex auto S2: interface s0/1 switchport mode access switchport port-security switchport port-security max 1…

I know some people do CCENT/CCNA without physical gear but I think my understanding will be improved by working on physical equipment so bought a few items last night on ebay. My questions are: Is this equipment enough to see me through to ICND2 and maybe onto CCNP? Is…
I don't understand the concept of layer 2 encapsulation over WAN, why is it not Layer 3 encapsulation? considering it's IP based?
Of course your going to say why would anyone want to do this, but imagine for a minute you had one bad fiber and no redundancy. Could you get the link up by using the one fiber link with half duplex? I know your network throughput would suck, but just to get the link up until you get someone out to replace/repair the fiber.
Hi All, Is this the correct place to post about the above topic or is this just related to the old voice cert? Thanks Kev
