Looking to take Security+ soon....
I am currently doing my own study, I am reading ExamCram book/software, and Cert Blaster. I also just want to say I am a little intimidated by the minimum score required, say compared to the A+, Server+, and N+. How have your experiences been on the exam? Any tips would be helpful. BTW I am new to this forum.

Passed Security+
I scored 800/900. I will take it! I used ExamCram, CBT Nuggets, Syngress (good book, but I only read a few chapters), and of course I reviewed the technotes. The reports of poorly worded questions were very true, but the actual objectives were not too difficult to grasp. Thanks for all of the helpful posts on these boards!

Questions about technotes Practice tests.
Hi. I'm studying from a variety of books for the upcoming exam (Sybex Sy0-101 2k8 Version, Exam Cram, and Syngress), and I wanted to know if those answers from the practice tests are updated with the current year. I saw a question that I was confused about because it contradicted the books that I read. 36. Which of the…

Passed by the skin of my teeth!!
About 10 questions into the exam, I thought I had failed. I couldn’t believe the wording of the questions. I was like...where's the hookah because these people were most defiantly smoking something!! Whoo hoo!! PASSED 850!!
I just passed Security+ this morning. I used a **** CBT to study. It covered most of the questions, but there were a few that weren't covered. Then again, those might've been questions that CompTIA just puts on there to test the waters and so forth. After getting through the survey, all I could see were the words…

Woot!!! :D I passed the Security+ exam this afternoon. I scored a 855 so I am very excited about it. First, the practice tests I was taking were giving me mixed…

I am going to take my Security+ test on Monday. I have read several books and I am taking several practice tests. 841/900 Completely satisfied too. Don't wanna reveal too much without breaking rules or something. Know your MAC/DAC/RBAC. Auditing, Logging. Social Engineering. PKI.
